Pathetic? To die for love? How can you say so? What could be more glorious?

Books

To distract myself from the distress of the constant rain outside, here are the books that are the key to calibrating my purpose-compass:

  • Maximum Ride series (Saving The World, Final Warning, Max & Fang) by James Patterson: The last time I read the first two books was two or more years ago. Finally getting back on track on the series leaves me elated! (I preferred the initial book covers for these books. :/)

  • The Magicians of Caprona by Dianna Wynn Jones: I first read this back in high school when it was lent to me by best friend Issa. It’s also a (Chrestomancci -sp?) series on its own but I only bought it at this book sale in Manila because I was slightly wistful and felt that the need to read might quench the longing for home. I was ashamed that I couldn’t recall what the story was about. I had a faint idea, but I was still apalled at not remembering any detail at all. As usual, I read several chapters and eventually got distracted by the internet. (What’s new?)

Off to take a shower and head to school. The rain should keep calm because I need to get to school. I got a 4-hour break in between the only two classes I have during Tuesdays and Thursdays, le sigh. Luckily enough, I got my french book and Maximum Ride: Saving The World to keep me company for the entire day.

Jacket, do your job.
